Director of Real Estate January 2008 - Present MS Walker & Associates, Inc., Austin, Texas Design/Build Construction Firm Led initiatives around property search and assessment, coordination of architectural design & engineering activities, platting, entitlements, easements, legal contractual agreements/requirements, permits, and tenant coordination. Instrumental in the development of an 85,000 square foot mixed use retail & multi-story medical office location. Led initiatives on 12 acre site with seller, worked toward creative solutions to solve for environmental controls. Successfully coordinated design consultants through value engineering solutions for significant savings.
Project Leader July 2006 December 2007 JTM Development, Austin, Texas Commercial Real Estate Development Responsible for site analysis, test fits & land planning, pro forma assessment, project planning & execution, design, resource planning, budgeting & financial goals, and quality control. Instrumental in developing new company policies and procedures that saved the organization time & money. Led a Colorado environmental effort resulting in effective river restoration and hazardous materials clean-up within a 1,800 acre residential development.
