I am a self employed Contractor Licensed with the State of California as a "B-General contractor". I perform all phases of construction in building, remodeling, and repairs.

My duties were to direct, supervise, work independently and with crews, to ensure and maintain the infrastructure services to existing and newly constructed buildings at San Bernardino Valley Junior College. The job required repairing some utilities damaged during construction, upgrading some existing utilities, and preparing for & moving out of the way some utilities during the construction of 7 new structures as well as the
demolition of most of the campuss' existing buildings. Utilities included: Installing a new 4" water supply line, restoring irrigation water to 1/2 of campus, Preparing for the new infrastructure to be installed into existing buildings. Upgrading the power supply to athletic storage building / electric car charging station and adjacent fields. Installing both temporary and permanent campus lighting. Locate & survey existing utilities in
advance of new construction, and perform tasks necessary to complete construction of new facilities not covered under contract scope of work.

Personal
I traveled to the East Coast for a time, and Managed a Pizza chain restaurant in San Jose California. In 1984 I enlisted in and spent 5 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Following an Honorable discharge I resumed my education and earned a BA in Liberal Studies and California Teaching Credential at CSU Chico. After almost ten years in the education field I returned to construction and formed C Lutes Construction. I have worked on a multi-million dollar project at San Bernardino Valley Community College, built several homes from the ground up, and completed numerous remodels and home improvement projects.
