EMPLOYMENT: PresentSr. Project and Site Manager, WeldTech Services Corp, Lawrenceville, GA Duties include supervision of field and in-house projects. Responsibilities includes project estimating, technical and financial oversight as well as schedule and procedure compliance of all non- nuclear sites which generally involve complex and sophisticated welding and machining equipment techniques.
2007-2008 Fluor Global Services, assigned to the Duke Energy/Fluor Alliance, Charlotte, Site manager at both the Allen and Marshall Steam Plants with multiple responsibilities. Oversaw Mercury monitoring at both Buck and Marshall plant sites. Responsible for simultaneously planning multiple unit outages at Buck, Allen and Marshall sites. Supported forced outage repairs at all Duke Energy sites with the exception of Bellews Creek. Progress Energy, Roxboro, N.C. FGD project Boiler Superintendent. Was assigned to this project when the original superintendent had to leave due to health issues. Completed the demolition and installation of (2) 75,000# duct/isolation damper sections to complete the Unit #3 absorber tie-in. Upon taking over the project, I revised the work plan to remove the equipment using monorails and successfully completed the project 18 hours ahead of schedule. Upon completion at Progress Energy was assigned as Project Mgr. for an FGD upgrade project at NRG Limestone, Limestone, TX.
2005-2007Project Manager, Spartan Constructors, Spartanburg, SC Responsible For Spartanburg, SC fabrication facility, boiler proposals, site execution, and assist with QC as needed. Construction Manager to oversee all craft activities related to the receipt, fabrication and installation of customer supplied materials to complete the erection of structural steel, duct, piping, limestone silo and storage buildings, fans and all related equipment to complete an Advatech scrubber with a contract value to the company of $60M. Other assignments include mechanical superintendent for Black & Veatch on a FGD/balance draft conversion at DP&L, agglomerator upgrades, a total V-bottom replacement for GA Power at Plant Hammond and precipitator modifications at Plant Bowen.
2003-2005Project Manager RT Department, Welding Services, Atlanta, Ga. Emphasis on helping to develop the boiler/mechanical repair business.Projects include main steam and hot reheat piping, control valve seat repairs, turbine replacement with GE and boiler tube welding for customers such as TVA, Reliant Energy, AEP, FMC Chemicals and others.

1999-2002Project Manager, Boiler Tube Company of America, Lyman, SC Transferred from TEI Construction Services to manage BTA turnkey boiler projects.Projects include major part replacements for Montenay Power, Savannah Electric, Interstate Paper, Riceland Foods and SCE&G.
1991-1999Project Manager, TEI Construction Services Transferred from fabrication to BTA Construction Division (now TEI). Primary responsibilities included direction and oversight of superintendents, project budgets and profitability, schedules and estimating, which included developing a project scope, computing job cost and submitting quotations to customers. Also functioned as site superintendent on projects including an economizer replacement for the Panama Canal Commission, steam drum repairs for SCE&G, package boiler rebuild for SONOCO Paper and others. Completed projects as PM superheater replacement for LG&E, assisted with HRSG for Puerto Rico Electric Authority. Helped to develop and presented the TEI proposal and participated as a member of the negotiation team for General Mechanical contract for LGE/KU Energy, and opened TEIs office in the Broadway Office Complex of LGE as manager.

1987-1989Crew Leader, Boiler Tube Company of America Employed as crew leader responsible for 15 man crew. Member of safety committee and helped to write original safety manual.
1975-1987Journeyman pipefitter and welder, B.F. Shaw Company, Laurens, SC Served four year apprenticeship and was allowed to journeyman work during my third year. Certified welder with 13 different certifications and a weld reject rate of less that 2%. Worked performed included fabrication of fossil, nuclear and Navy nuclear piping systems.
