Professional Qualifications
I have 26 years in heavy industrial construction, i.e. oil refineries, power plants, paper mills and gasification plants (Co2, methane, propane) I feel I have a considerable advantage in bidding projects from years of hands on field experience, unit man hour reports from previous projects and man hour rates that cover activities from steel erection - final detail work.
Extensive Experience
- Reviewing bid drawings to determine quantities. - Reviewing contracts and specs. to establish scope and expections of project. - Establishing manpower and equipment needs. - Reviewing shop drawing prior to fabrication, to assure they meet contract specs. - Reviewing or establishing heavy rigging pick plans. - Working with engineers and clients to clarify any discrepencies in drawings.

Contractor: Delta Developement Client: Pioneer Energy Project: Ooogurook Island, Prudhoe Bay, Alaska Title: Logistics and Material Coordinator Duties: I coordinated all drill site material, in addition to supervising an eight man roustabout crew.

Contractor: Alaska Mechanical Client: Nova Goldmine Project: Nome, Alaska Title: Structural Iron Foreman and Estimator Duties: I estimated the structural iron portion of the project once we were awarded the job. I run the structural crew, mill blgs, crushers and support buildings.

Contractor: Conam Construction Client: Conoco Phillips Alaska Project: U.L.S.D Module Title: Structural Iron Estimator Duties: I estimated the structural iron erection portion of the project, I did material take-offs, man power and equipment needs. I generated a work schedule, from mob-in thru barge loadout. I generated task plans for each stage of iron erection.

Contractor: Conanm Construction Client: Conoco Phillips Alaska Project: ACK Unit, Prudhoe Bay, Alaska Title: Structural Iron General Foreman Duties: I supervised a twenty man structural iron and heavy rigging in assembly of the A.C.X Unit, consisting of several pre- fab modules, stabilizer tower, hot oil heater towers, cat walks, and misc. detail work.
3/05- 11/05
Contractor: T.I.C Northwest Client: Teck Pogo Project: Pogo Gold Mine Delta Jet, Alaska Title: Structural Iron General Foreman Duties: I supervised a structural iron crew (up to 15 men). We hung all the iron for the mill bldg. We set all equipment, tanks and crushers in mill bldg. We erected apron feed conveyor at the coarse ore bin, including the sag mill tube conveyor and elevated utilidors.

Contractor: Self- employed Client: Misc. Local Contractors Projects: Anchorage Airport Expansion Misc. Anchorage City Projects Misc. Industrial Projects for T.I.C Title: Free Lance Structural Estimator Duties: I sub- contracted the structural iron bid portion of several local projects. Scheduling was done on the Primavera system, when requested. I also generated civil estimates (concrete and rebar) on several of the jobs.

Contractor: Steel Fab Incorporated Client: Misc. Contractors Project: Misc. Modules, Bridges, and Vessels Title: Lead Fabricator and Fitter Duties: I supervised the fabrication of misc. modules, bridges, and holding tanks. I would do material take- offs for cut list, cut materials, fit, then have welders weld it out.
