Accomplished Award-Winning Builder with the proven ability to develop and implement strategies that have taken two building companies to the #10 and #14 top rankings in the Memphis/Shelby County areas. As President and Chief Manager, McCauley has extensive experience in budgeting, bidding and estimating processes for residential homes. He has a strong understanding of the accounting and balance sheet side of the building business and knows the importance of cost and accounting controls. Jim accomplishes this by implementing a good construction software program that seamlessly integrates data inputs such as invoices, bids, budgets, and take-offs with accounting and detailed job cost reports. Also, McCauley understands the financing side of the business. He has experience in negotiating the construction financing with banking institutions, making sure their brokerage and financing fees are held to a minimum in order to maximize profits for the building company. Most importantly, McCauley knows that without sales, nothing else matters. He has experience in putting together sales and marketing teams to find the best and least expensive advertising venues with the highest impact for the dollar. Basically, McCauley has managed, developed, and administered all aspects of the construction business. All this experience enables him to see the over-all big picture of the building business, which makes him valuable to a company regardless of the position he holds or is responsible to oversee.
