Experience includes over twenty one years in management and supervision of construction projects in both the private and public sectors. Project experience has included a variety of construction types including both vertical and underground construction. Vertical experience includes projects such as commercial office, educational, medical research, congregational, retail, residential and seismic retrofits. Underground experience includes the installation of most all wet and dry utilities as well as pump stations and water treatment facility rehabilitation work. Experience in both of these areas includes all project management and field supervision tasks including but not limited to estimating, budgeting, scheduling, billing, buyout, contract execution and oversight, approval of construction documents, client interface, municipality interface, etc. Would also consider position on a consulting basis to assist employer with reduced overhead cost.

Director of Construction Oversee all aspects of commercial construction to include ground up, rehabilitation and retail tenant improvement projects. Also oversaw property renovation work for our multi-family platform as well.

Project Manager Performed construction management services on a private land development project that included a $4 million sewage pump station, wet and dry utility infrastructure, mass grading operations, road work, two 700 bridges, landscape improvements, etc.

Rancho Bernardo Road / Interstate 15 Interchange Improvements, San Diego, California
$6.8 million in roadway improvements.
Project Manager Supervised and managed roadway improvements to include re-configuring of freeway on & off ramps, widening of surface streets, traffic signal modifications and landscape improvements.

Heartland Village, Hemet, California
$1 million sewer siphon project.
Project Manager Performed construction management services on a private land development project constructing a sewer siphon to transition the projects sewer system 35 below two existing 96 transmission water mains. Management of other work also performed on the project included overseeing mass grading operations, wet and dry utility infrastructure installation, road work, storm channel construction, surface improvements, etc.

Preston Pipelines, Inc., Milpitas, CA 9/97 7/02
$100 million in private and public projects
Project Manager Managed all aspects of the installation of underground utilities for a $60 million a year company performing both private and public work. Work included new construction and retrofit of pump stations and water treatment facilities along with the installation of underground utilities to include storm drain, sanitary sewer, domestic water, fire systems, chilled water systems, drainage structures, dry utilities, pipeline rehabilitation, etc. Managed $20 - $25 million annually in projects ranging in value from $50,000.00 to $5 million. Tasks performed included overall project management, project estimating, scope change pricing, material buyout, scheduling, superintendent interface, crew/equipment dispatching, etc.

Bovis Construction, Inc., San Francisco, CA 9/95 9/97
Stanford Universitys Science & Engineering Quad (SEQ), Stanford, California
$120 million Science & Engineering Quad to include four new buildings, site work and associated utility infrastructure.
Project Manager Performed construction management services for the University managing all aspects of construction for a new electrical engineering building. Project was a $23 million three-story 116,000 square foot teaching facility building along with all related site work, utilities, etc.


Additional SEQ projects personally managed and completed included;
SEQ Utilities/Infrastructure Project $2 Million - Managed the installation of all of the SEQ project related utilities/infrastructures.
Demolition/Abatement Project $3 Million - This involved the complete demolition of four buildings along with two selectively demolished buildings and associated abatement work.
SEQ Wall Mock-up Project $225,000 - This involved the construction of an exterior wall facade to replicate the proposed design for the new SEQ buildings. This required coordination between the design team, University Planning Department and University Facilities Department for design purposes, constructability and maintenance issues.
GP-B Modular Office Building Project $750,000 - This involved the construction of a twelve unit two story modular building built for the relocation of a Research group from their original location on the SEQ site.
HEPL Testing Vault and Control Room Project $450,000 - This involved the construction of a linear accelerator testing vault and control room.
Temporary Relocation Project $2 million - This involved the relocation of all tenants from sites to be demolished to make way for the new SEQ Project as well as the build-out of their new locations in existing campus buildings.

University of California Los Angeles - Capital Programs, Westwood, CA 8/91 - 9/95
$15 million in University capital improvement projects.
Project Manager Performed construction management directly for the University on a new medical research building, seismic and renovation work on historical buildings, utility infrastructure upgrades and a variety of other capital improvement projects.

Temporary Library Facility, University of California Los Angeles, California
$3.5 million structural steel / sprung structure temporary library facility.
Construction Superintendent - Supervised the construction of a 36,000 square foot temporary library for use while the main library was undergoing seismic/historical renovation.

C.J. Segerstrom and Sons/South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, CA 3/90 - 8/91
South Coast Plaza/Crystal Court/South Coast Village/Mesa Verde Shopping Center, Costa Mesa, California
$3 million in Landlord capital improvements and $5 million in Retailer tenant improvements.
Project Manager - Managed the construction of all Landlord capital improvements and oversaw the construction of all retailers tenant improvements at two major shopping malls and two strip malls.
