Professional Profile I have over 25 years in the construction industry and 20 years as Senior Management and specialized in HVAC&R. My strength is in my ability to motivate and lead people to a successful outcome. I am a natural leader, a team builder and a teacher and believe that people want to do well and with proper direction they can. Mechanical Inc., Ocala, Fl 10/2002 - 05/2008 President/Director of Operations It was my responsibility to direct the daily operations of an upward mechanical company employing 3 Project Managers, a Project Coordinator, administrative support staff and 130 field personnel. Duties include fiscal responsibility for all aspects of the corporation consisting of but not limited to budget development and preparation, profit and loss projection, project costing, developing proper project estimating procedures as well as a sound estimating system, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. In addition to fiscal responsibilities the following were also required, Designed and engineer complete heating and cooling systems using AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT. Development of new revenue sources through company expansion by means of acquiring larger and more diverse projects such as state and local government projects and projects to include larger chiller and boiler systems and associated piping as well as full control systems. Developed and acquired projects through negotiation and networking by establishing myself as trusty on the board of the local Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of several local organizations. Established a sale and marketing program, as well as directing and overseeing project management teams. The company operated as primary contractor on 50 percent of the projects acquired. We contracted out various segments of projects to subcontractors and monitored subcontractors for contract compliance assuring work was performed as agreed and on schedule.

Consisting of plan and spec. projects, design and build projects, negotiated projects, demand service, preventative maintenance service and constant presence maintenance service. Duties involve budget preparation and presentation, involving direct and indirect cost, profit margins and projected revenue as well as revenue projections with full responsibility for P & L. This position required team development and support as well as a program of ongoing training to better achieve the companys mission. The position allowed me the freedom to operate independently while always having the companys goals as my guide. Designed and Value Engineered large heating and cooling systems.
