Construction Projects Summary
BJ's Wholesale Club /Squire Road (Route 60) Revere Ma. Responsible for the oversight of intersection reconstruction and signalization along North Main Street (Route 58) including full depth roadway construction and road-widening, construction of sidewalks, driveway reconstruction, installation of granite curb and edging, wheelchair ramp construction, cold planning, pavement leveling and resurfacing, conduit and pull box installation, traffic signal and loop detector installation, drainage system modifications, pavement markings, sign layout and traffic management during construction. As Project Resident, was responsible for day to day observations, preparation of daily field reports, and for ensuring construction compliance with project plans, specifications and highway access permit. Coordinated the project construction with material testing firms, Town officials, Mass Highway, impacted abutters (businesses and residents) and private utility companies (electric and water department, etc.) having jurisdiction over the project.
Reconstruction of Grafton Street (Route 122) Worcester Ma. Provided project resident services for all aspects of construction including, parking lots, retaining walls, full depth roadway widening, milling and resurfacing, pavement leveling, curb and edging installation, guard rail and drainage system installation, utility adjustments, conduit and pull box installation, traffic signal construction, signs and pavement markings. Observed roadway reconstruction for compliance with plans and specifications. Conducted material testing based on density and water contents of structural fill and gravel in place by nuclear methods. Material testing results were compared to Mass Highway, ASTM and ASSHTO standards for compliance. Responsible for the oversight of roadway construction, Water Filtration and Recovery System, Massachusetts Highway and Water connection required. The intersection reconstruction and signalization, cold Planning and resurfacing, pavement leveling, driveway construction, curb and edging installation, drainage system modifications, utility adjustments, sidewalks, turn lanes, foundation construction for mast arms, installation of a new traffic signal system and pavement markings. Coordinated project construction with Client, City officials, and impacted abutters adjacent to the improvements to minimize impacts on private property. Attended weekly meetings to discuss the construction progress and material testing results.
