Daily activities included contractor supervision; draw request submittals, cost coding, and budget-to-actual analysis. The project is a $250 million master planned residential and commercial village community with private golf club. Amenities include swim, tennis, spa and fitness facilities along with state of the art fiber-optic digital home and security technologies. Duties also included contract negotiations, supervision and management of golf course and club construction, plus off-site infrastructure including a mile long sewer outfall line, three mile return irrigation line, regional sewer lift station, equalization chamber and motorized valve vault. Sr. Project Manager, Utility Department Vast array of responsibility including project estimating and bidding, project buy-out, complete job management, scheduling, budgeting and sole accountability for cost analysis on projects totaling $12 million, both public and private. My jobs averaged highest gross mark-up percentages amongst nine Project Managers. Duties also included management of sixty-five men and women working in the field on eleven crews. Daily activities involved project billing, scheduling of manpower, equipment and job site superintendence; including accountability for production goals and problem intervention and resolution. Wrote and published all text materials, including a sixteen hour video lecture series, still being sold today. Managed the most profitable department out of four. Responsibilities included budgeting the programs revenue and expenditures, traveling to over thirty cities nationally and speaking publicly to groups of fifteen to groups of over one hundred. Development Manager Worked for large residential and golf course developer in the Metro Atlanta market. Built and developed over 1,100 residential lots, 48,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer, 23 miles of roadways and all other utilities involved with this process. Estimated, bid and managed the construction of Crooked Creek Golf Club, an 18-hole semi-private golf course from land clearing through opening.
