Claude Thompson Elementary, Fauquier County, Virginia: Senior Consultant. Member of team that developed an independent cost estimate for the $7M renovation and new construction in support of a previously generated parametric estimate.
George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia: Senior Consultant. Conducted a review of the university's facility acquisition process utilizing a 200,000sf, $25 million housing project as the baseline. Provided analysis of the project controls and developed recommendations for improving the university's facility acquisition process.
INDUSTRIAL
** Explosive Test Facility, Department of the Navy, Indian Head, Maryland: Project Manager. $10.7 million - Led project teams comprising inspectors and contract specialists as the Navy's direct technical representative for the construction of six explosive test facilities that were bunkers with laced reinforced concrete up to six feet thick, enclosed within seismic rated structural steel buildings. Monitored contractor's progress according to submitted CPM schedules. Responded to contractor requests for information. Developed cost estimates, reviewed, processed, and negotiated change orders to $300,000. Worked with AE to resolve design issues in a timely manner. Project was significant as only one of two such facilities in the United States.
** Renovate Buildings 154, 292 and 160, Department of the Navy, Indian Head, Maryland: Project Manager. Acted as the owner's representative for the renovation of several manufacturing facilities, some of which were in historically significant buildings. Work included remediation of lead and asbestos.
** Mix, Assemble and Cure Facility Part II, Department of the Navy, Indian Head, Maryland: Project Manager. Represented the owner for a $5.8 million commercial production facility. Responsibilities included scheduling oversight, change order management and general construction management duties.
** Munitions Disassembly Facility, Department of the Navy, Indian Head, Maryland: Project Manager. Oversaw the renovation of a $ 5.5M manufacturing facility. The electrical work on this project was highly unusual due to an "explosive proof requirement" specification for all electrical devices. Each electrical component had to be individually verified as a component to meet the specification.
** CAD/PAD Manufacturing Facility, Department of the Navy, Indian Head, Maryland:Project Manger. Represented the owner for the construction of a $ 5.3M high-bay manufacturing facility. Responsibilities included scheduling oversight, change order management and general construction management duties.

Hominy Wastewater Treatment Plant: Claim Review - Conducted analysis for the Owner of the general contractor's $4M claim on a $10M plant upgrade. Analysis included, schedule, labor and project overhead review as well as recommendations to the owner.
Loudoun County Middle School: Claim Review - Conducted analysis for the masonry subcontractor in defense against the general contractor for a $600,000 wrongful termination claim. Analysis included review of project documentation to determine evidence of breach of contract by the general contractor.
ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATIONS
** TCE Environmental Remediation, Department of the Navy, Indian Head, Maryland: Project Manager. Represented the owner for the $ 1.1M TCE plume remediation project. Work included testing, removal and disposal of contaminated soil.
** Lead Contamination Remediation, Department of the Navy, Indian Head, Maryland: Project Manager. Represented the owner for the remediation of a storm sewer pipe that discharged into a freshwater estuary. Total cost of project was $1.4M. Work included cleaning and lining of pipe.

Managing the due diligence process including selecting and awarding contracts for the civil engineer and the geo-technical engineer.
