PROFILE

I am a Chief Estimator with 20+ years in construction, over 10 of those years estimating all different types of site development, including commercial infastructure, highway and road construction (interchanges, retaining walls, culverts, bridges), commercial and residential development, master planned communities, utilities, trenching, deep hole excavation, and earthen dams. I really enjoy and specialize working with clients from the early conceptual stages of development, to feasibility, through the final design. I consider myself a seasoned expert in value engineering, preliminary budgets, contingencies, and final bid proposals. I also take pride in providing customers with accurate and complete estimates for project cash flow and analysis of construction proposals. Construction has always been an exciting industry for me and I thrive in it.

Performed quantity take-offs and job cost analysis. Issued subcontractor and suppliers RFP's. Selected the appropriate equipment and crews to develop production levels for estimates. Observed and maintained market knowledge of competitors and conducted job cost reviews. Held preconstruction meetings with all Project Engineers, Project Managers, and accounting personnel, to provide a detailed breakdown of all items included in the estimate. Followed and supported projects from start to finish. This included change orders and periodic reviews to ensure the jobs were going as planned or better, to guarantee success for each project.
