Served in the United States Army for 4 years active duty and 2 years reserve duty and traveled abroad in my tenure with my duties. Milwaukee Police Department 08-92 to 01-01 Police Officer: Worked as a patrol officer for the Milwaukee Police Department assigned out of District 5. A diverse community with many nationalities of people. My duties were street patrol and crime investigation. Responsible for traffic patrol, traffic duties, crime investigation, and report writing. In my tenure as a police officer I have worked foot patrol, bike patrol, and street patrol. I was assigned as a field training officer to train new officers coming on the department in policy and policing. My last two years I was assigned to the District specialty unit which handled complaints of prostitution to narcotics. As part of the specialty unit we worked undercover in close coordination with the different units in organizing and arresting people who purchased and dealt narcotics. Other responsibilities were court duties in testifying for arrests that we made. I was a key person in the arrest of 4 people for the shooting of a Milwaukee Police Officer.
