I have worked in the excavating business for over 20 years. I have supervised several job site operations and can operate a wide variety of heavy equipment including: track excavators, dozers, tractor backhoes, skid-steers, sweepers, landscaping equipment of all kinds, forklifts, and tractor-trailers. I have removed snow for several years as well can operate pay-loaders and load trucks in parking lots.
I have worked under a wide variety of situations including: county ditching, county rural water leaks and new installation, grain elevator sites, demolition, basement excavation, large commercial projects (Ralph Engalstad Arena, Grand Forks and East grand Forks lagoon construction, several hotels and strip mall projects, The Corp. of Engineers (the Grand forks Air force Base, flood recovery projects excavating for levies and flood walls, setting heavy steel mats of rebar). I understand laser equipment, elevations, proper sloping, setting piling, underground tank removal, proctors/densities/engineered fill compaction procedures, asphalt and concrete removal, underground utilities (high voltage, high pressure gas lines, and fiber optic cables). I have worked around several pieces of heavy equipment and general laborers many times, and I always maintain focus and accuracy. My safety record is impeccable, and I always do pre-machine inspections.
I feel that I am well suited to work under a minimum of supervision. I follow directions very well and can self-diagnose daily operations.
