Experience: 2008-Present Project Superintendent HIP Hot In Place Paving, St. Petersburg, FL Supervise hot in place pavement recycling projects throughout various counties and states. 2002-2008 Project Superintendent Florida Highway Products, Bartow, FL I rejoined Florida Highway Products in 2002 as the Project Superintendent overseeing cold mix paving, chip seal, full depth reclamation and hot mix asphalt. 1998-2002 Foreman Orlando Paving, Orlando FL I supervised pavement projects from one to six miles of combined roads throughout various counties. Ran milling, pavement recycling and open grade cold mix operations. Managed all aspects of field operations including procurement of necessary materials and mobilization of equipment. I also obtained a Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement. 1997-1998 Project Management California Pavement Maint. Co., Inc., CA I was instrumental in the creation of a new division (American Pavement Systems) in the Florida region. I led all aspects of field operations, including sales and marketing initiatives. Developed an expertise in Slurry Seal Systems and Micro-Surfacing industries through project supervision. 1990-1997 Project Superintendent New York Bituminous, Chester, NY I was instrumental in the operation of new Florida Division (Florida Highway Products). I supervised projects that exceeded 3 million square yard per year and outperformed all market standards. I was in charge of recruitment and training of all field personnel as well as overseeing the selection of materials, machinery, and equipment used to perform Micro-Surfacing projects. 1983-1990 Project Supervisor Costello Industries, Newington, CT Responsibilities included onsite supervision of slurry seal, micro-surfacing, and crack sealing projects throughout the East Coast and Bermuda. We placed over 300 million square yards of Type I and Type II slurries on various airports over an eight year period. I managed all major projects in Bermuda with responsibility for laboratory mix design. Other duties included milling, asphalt, grinding, and asphalt repairs. 1973-1983 Crew Foreman/Field Mechanic Landsell Company, Hackensack, NJ Operated a crew using 3 Madison 10 cubic yard machines. Worked on asphalt distributors, chip spreaders, and slurry seal machinery.
