I am interested in working for your company. Besides having and Associates Degree in Architectural Construction Technology and a Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, I have years of hands on experience in most areas of construction. As an employee of your company, I believe I would be a great asset to the college. I have established strong leadership and management skills that have been acquired as a result of years of experience. I can fill any niche in the construction industry and I am capable of hitting the ground running.
While working for a mostly non-union civil contractor, I have been directly involved with most tasks associated with bridge construction. Some specific tasks include: coffer dams, pile driving, reinforcing steel, concrete placement and finishing, setting pre-stressed beams, post tension, and grouting, and formwork including abutments, slope walls, and parapets. Other related tasks include setting bridge screed (Bidwell), assembly/ disassembly crane as well as working with various types of heavy machinery.
I was born and raised in Dearborn, MI. I moved to Northern Michigan 9 years ago, but continue to maintain a residence in the metro Detroit area.
Thank you for your consideration and I am looking forward to hearing from you in the very near future.
Sincerely,
Mark S. Blossfeld
