Performed the daily field reporting and testing as directed by the senior project manager. These included soils (geotechnical observation, sub-grade testing to include road, curb, sidewalk and foundation, backfill compaction testing for walls, utilities and berms, sample collection as required). Concrete (ACI certified), proprietary anchors, asphalt testing and site monitoring for erosion control. All in accordance with the ASTM standards and the project specifications. Thorough understanding of construction plans and sequence, RFIs, scheduling and the importance of clear communication both written and verbal to the required entities involved with the project. Responsible for the daily reports and test results, through the project closeout summary to the senior project manager. Involved with a variety of public and commercial projects, and worked closely with the public utility district personnel in the tri-county area.
