Developed professional relationships, proposals, and strategic alliances with local engineering, architectural, legal and financial firms for a wide array of projects. Nearly all of the clients developed are new relationships to the firm. Developed detailed Proposals, Budgets, schedules, Scope of Work and Statement of Understanding, Contract Administration and oversight for developing projects in the greater Grand Rapids area. STS Consultants, Ltd. 5/04 to 8/07 Associate Engineer Developed marketing and business development strategy for Michigan and regional markets supporting offices with over 75 professional staff. Provided corporate marketing department assistance with support of 14 branch offices and over 650 staff of regional and national clients for various projects throughout the mid-West.

Develop and Manage over $5M/year of professional services for international water bottling company that include detailed Project Estimates and Monthly accruals for ongoing projects. Managed professional staff from 7 branch offices providing services for the various tasks for these projects. Responsible for development of Proposal, Scope of Work, Budgets, Schedules, Invoicing, QA/QC, and overall Project Management for these unique and complex inter-disciplinary projects. Delivered successful technical campaign to support w/b/e architectural firm with engineering support. Consistent delivery of over 10 ongoing projects throughout Midwest and southeast US for professional fees ranging from $5000 to over $3M. Negotiated and managed the deliver of a complex research and development facility on the campus of the University of Toledo for the United States Department of Agriculture. This three-story, over 34,000 ft2 facility with a $13.6M construction budget is to become the centerpiece of the Bancroft Campus. Salvaged existing company clients that had concerns over current corporate delivery and quality control with the ongoing projects. Negotiated the completion of complex environmental and civil engineering project that removed the concrete cap over the Grand River in the City of Jackson. MDNR and city of Jackson had jurisdiction over this project. Assisted with numerous MDOT transportation design and construction projects throughout the Grand Rapids region. Assisted with the development of procedures, protocol and processes necessary to successfully implement this project delivery system.
