Supervised 14 team members and controlled a budget of 2.3 million dollars. Designed and purchased store fixtures. Supervised the purchasing department that acquired all of the store supplies for a 500 store chain. I negotiated national contracts for supplies, mail service, and store fixtures. Supervised the new store openings including fixture installation, stocking and corporate policy compliance.

This included lay-out, fixture design and fixture placement. Designed new merchandise fixtures for company wide roll-out. Supervised all phases of the construction process from land acquisition to close-out. This includes preparation of budgets, bidding, hiring of contractors and approval of all pay applications and change orders. During my tenure, change orders went from 3% to less than 1% on all new store construction.
