Objective To secure full time employment and become part of a successful team as to further my learning and growing as an individual. I am not scared of hard work and am a firm believer of you get what you put in. Qualifications/Certifications Carpenters Apprentice 80%; First Aid, Osha 10, Scaffold Builder, Scaffold User, Off-road Forklift and rigging certifications from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. I performed work with heavy machinery, extreme heights, dangerous and precarious situations while wearing cumbersome equipment and safety apparatuses. I am accustomed to working long hours and giving 120% to my employers. I understand the value of working as a team and being self sufficient to perform tasks as deemed necessary to complete tasks on schedule.
Work History January 2009 - April 2009: Gillette Construction South Pointe Casino expansion project (Building tunnel, footings, wall form, snap tie, elevator core, deck pour, handset scaffold, print reading, layout)
November 2008 - January 2009: M.J. Dean Hard Rock Casino new tower (install drywall, walls and ceilings, stairwell scaffold set up)
July 2008 - November 2008: Litze Construction Insurance restoration (finish work, painting, plumbing, garage door replacement repair)
January 2008 - July 2008: Marnell Caesars Tower expansion project (flyers, decks, walls, columns, stripping, rigging loads, layout, welded scaffold erecting)
October 2007January 2008: Tutor Saliba Encore Casino (snap tie walls, ledger, layout, handset scaffold build, decking, )
June 1999October 2007: A&N Garage Doors Residential and commercial garage door installation and service; sales. Did all aspect of garage door business for three cities in a 300 mile radius.
