As the Project Engineer reported directly to Vice President on an estimated $ 100 Million project at the BROS Superfund site located in Logan Township, NJ. Duties consist of but not limited to:

Progress meeting attend/participate, review what progress accomplished and determine correction action to be taken if milestones not being met;
Financial meeting review invoices from contractor, meet with ELM financial personnel to confirm invoice submittals were correctly used and completed proper tasks coding;
Schedule meeting review contractors schedule to ensure that they conform to the work being performed and provide future activities as well as coordination with other contractors so activities are completed in a timely manner and without conflicts with other contractors; take corrective actions if work activities were not being correctly performed;

Jacobs Engineering, Inc. Philadelphia, PA 2006 2007

Resident Engineer for the $ 93 Million Reconstruction of the Philadelphia Market Street Elevated SEPTA Rail line reporting directly to Senior Resident Engineer.
Primary responsibility to ensure that the work is constructed in accordance with the approved plans, specification, contract documentation and by sound engineering and constriction practices according to the accepted schedule and budget. Specific dutiesincluded conducting contract modifications/ tool box safety meetings; schedule updates, review payment invoices and approve all inspection/daily reports as well resolving disputes and field discrepancies and in expediting response to Request For Information (RFI) and reviewing submittals.


Sevenson Environmental Services, Inc. Manville, NJ 2005- 2006

Project Manager for remediation of Federal Creosote Superfund Site located within the town limits of Manville, NJ. Responsible for the overall management and
execution of project tasks, approved work plans, all applicable government
regulations, site safety performance requirements and primary contact with the
USEPA and Army Corps of Engineers on/off site representatives. This cost reimbursement project was estimated at $ 37 Million and consisted of the excavation,
characterization, transportation and disposal of approximately 120,000 tons of creosoted contaminated soil at depths to 16 feet. I was responsible for closing out the project and completing four (4) years of back logged claims and contract
modifications.


Parsons Brinckerhoff 2001 to 2005

Resident Engineer (PATCO Hi Speed Line - $ 4.5 Million) responsible for planning, reviewing and assigning work of subordinate field personnel, reviewing all construction procedures and engineering layouts , review project activities with the client representative and contractor field supervisor to resolve disputes and daily construction issues; reviewed daily inspectors reports and prepared the monthly summary report. Work involved tunnel and stations (Philadelphia 5 stations and 1 mile of track area; Camden 2 stations & 1 mile of track) placement of a new fire detection/alarm system; an efficient & safe lighting system with emergency tunnel egress and illumination of the exists.

Project Manager (Irving School District - $ 19 Million) responsible for all aspects of instituting facility Health & Safety upgrades in nine schools under cost-eimbursement contracts. In addition to resource allocation this position required interaction with the NJ Economy Development Authority; representatives from the Department of Community Affairs, and Principals from the schools; as well as contractors and their respective subcontractors. Construction activities ranged from repair and replacement of the roofs, rehabilitation of the bathroom facilities for ADA compliance; installation of replacement doors for compliance with the Fire Codes removal of Asbestos Containing Material; installation of HVAC units; exterior windows and Fire Alarm systems. Project involved work at nine (9) schools under eleven (11) separate contracts.

Project Manager (Newark School District - $ 50 Million) accountable for all aspects of construction of additional program space and supporting facilities to
meet the projected capacity. This cost-reimbursement design contract is part of an overall construction program. The first school design contract targeted the needs of 350 students in Grades 5-8; renovations to the existing schools required careful coordination with construction of the new addition to minimize
interference with ongoing school operation. The second school design project is the construction of a Pre-K through 4th grade with a projected capacity of 528
students. Both schools were to reflect the neighborhood community and share a common city block which will be planned for neighborhood social activities,
sports, concerts. etc.


NJDEP Hazardous Waste Remediation 1987 to 2001 *

Construction Manager on site full time overseeing work on multiple Superfund sites (i.e. GEMS Landfill (4 years), Vineland Chemical (3 years), Combe Fill South Landfill (1/2 year), and Burnt Fly Bog (1 year)


USACE 1985 1987 *

Camden County Regional Primary Treatment Facility, Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority and the City of Camden

Project Manager for the conversion of a 38 MGD primary treatment facilities into a regional wastewater treatment facility with a capacity of 75 MGD secondary treatment, including removal of 13 existing wastewater treatment plants and rerouting flow through 22 miles of new conveyance systems and constructing new five (5) pump stations. Responsibilities included field investigation/inspection; review and recommendation of payment requests; evaluation of modifications to the work to confirm that costs were fair and reasonable; ensured that the specifications and construction documents were adhered to; verified the quantities installed and the material stockpiled; and assisted in mitigating claims and reaching settlements. Responsible for contract administration; verifying daily, weekly and monthly construction progress reports; ensuring that the CPM schedule (Primavera) was prepared correctly and updated with the various modifications. Chaired the weekly progress meetings, coordinated Federal and State interactions and dealt with public relations and media personnel. Total amount of this work was approximately $ 120 Million.

Construction Manager supervising the construction/rehabilitation of Regional Wastewater Treatment facilities in Sussex and Warren counties:
