Personal- I have worked in the construction business for the past 26 years. I have always enjoyed the work and have taken great pride in the products I have produced. I have been married for 20years and I am very dependable. If you were to call my references and ask about me, the three main things they would say would be; One, I am a hard worker. Two, I am the best at what I do, and three, you can count on me. Out of the different aspects of custom home building, home improvements and commercial renovations, my favorite position has been project manager / superintendent. I really enjoy juggling numerous jobs from start to finish. I am organized with scheduling the different trades and know when work is less than satisfactory. I keep a fast pace without compromising the quality of the product. I follow all safety guidelines of O.S.H.A. and company rules to ensure safe working conditions on all job sites. I have no problem with putting my tools on to get the job done. I will be consistent with my commitment of delivering quality jobs on time. I work well with customers and employees. Summers INC Owings, MD Project Manager / Customer Service Manager Salary $50,000
The first 2 years at P.F. Summers I managed customer service. At the beginning of this time I assisted with the development and implementation of new customer service policies and standards. I was responsible for manager walks for each of P.F. Summers homes prior to delivery to the customer. I ensured a quality home was delivered. I was also in charge of any problems or emergencies that arose during the construction and completion of all P.F. Summers homes. I would meet with customers to address any difficulties they were having with the new home construction process. I would monitor and identify any reoccurring service issues and work with other departments for project improvement. If at any time a project manager was terminated I would take over their jobs until completion and these jobs included spot lots. I then gradually shifted to a full time project manager / superintendent. I was in charge of the construction of 5-8 homes at a time, from start to finish (lot to key). At any given time I would coordinate, schedule and supervise 20-30 subcontractors and/or vendors. I stayed in close contact with not only the customers but the subcontractors, to assure the clients satisfaction with not only the new home they were purchasing but their satisfaction with P.F.Summers as a company. I left P.F. Summers to start my own home improvement company.
