Work Experience Carroll & Lange Civil Engineers Lakewood, CO Engineer II 6/04 3/09 Applied engineering knowledge to completing numerous projects in the land development industry. Coordinated project expectations with clients and sub-contractors, and lead my project team toward completing projects under tight budgets and time constraints. Created detailed Phase I, II, & III Drainage Studies for projects as large at 3,000 acres and as small as one acre. Created roadway alignments with three-dimensional qualities from private roadways to 6-lane major arterials. Calculated earthwork cut and fill quantities for sites involving as much as 3,000,000 cubic yards of earthwork transport. Coordinated haul routes and when earthwork could not balance on-site. Designed GESC and SWMP plans and reports, O&M manuals, cost estimates, cost-sharing agreements, civil construction documents, and customized exhibits for single and multi-phase construction projects throughout Colorado, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use sites. Designed an aesthetically pleasing cobble-lined swale around a multi-family site that prevented off-site drainage onto a private golf course and satisfied restrictive water quality requirements. This solution saved the client from legal action by the golf course and having to install a water quality pond in place of a multi-million dollar triplex.
City of Aurora Water Department Aurora, CO Water Tech Summer 2002 & 2003, Spring 2004 Worked alongside water service technicians in several departments to gain a wide variety of in-field experience. Observed and recorded water data.
