Daniel J. Meinerz Biographical Summary

Mr. Meinerz is a Sales/Marketing professional with over 20 years of management experience in hi-tech and construction disciplines. Recently employed by Guerdon Enterprises, LLC a custom modular homebuilder as Regional Sales Manager.

While at TUFF SHED, Dan initiated a direct sales force of 100+ individuals and provided all training, motivation and collateral materials. Prior to Tuff Shed, Dan was retained by Compaq Computer in Houston as a Marketing Consultant with product introduction responsibilities. While the Marketing Director at Solbourne Computer, he was responsible for introducing SPARC based client servers to strategic accounts in the financial and commercial markets. He was also part of the sales management organization at NCR Microelectronics World HQ in Dayton, Ohio 1988 1991. Revenue there increased from $80 million to over $400 million in this four-year period.

While at Honeywell Microelectronics in Colorado Springs, CO from 1985 1988, Meinerz was responsible for the marketing communications programs of the ASIC, Gate Array division and part of the management team that increased revenues from $11 million to $77 million. He also co-founded Silicon Mountain Symposium in 1986, an annual event that brought computer industry publishers, editors and analyst to Colorado to meet with the hi-tech manufacturers of the Rocky Mountain Region.

From 1982 1985 Meinerz headed up the distribution sales & marketing efforts at AMD, (Advanced Micro Devices) in Silicon Valley. His work contributed to AMDs first billion-dollar year in 1985. Prior to that, he was with Unirad and Organon Teknika, both medical ultrasound companies in Denver in product development and sales.

Dan has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison and an associate degree in fine art from the Layton School of Art Milwaukee, WI. He also attended St. Martins College in Olympia, Washington for post-graduate work in psychology. Dan is a licensed journeyman cabinetmaker and stair builder who still makes sawdust on weekends when the ski slopes arent open. He served as a platoon leader with the U S Army Corps of Engineers assigned to Ft. Lewis, Tacoma Washington where he was an instructor in the construction trades.
