Summary:

I am a Survey Party Chief / Survey Office Technician-Analyst with over 5 years of Land Surveying experience. I passed the N.C.E.E.S. - L.S.I.T. exam in October of 2007, and I am preparing to apply for my P.L.S. license. Ive had experience running a survey crew at many various types of job sites, performing all necessary survey tasks for different phases of projects from preliminary to final. Duties: Performed construction staking surveys, boundary surveys, topos (for design purposes, as-built verification, A.L.T.A.), etc., at multiple sites. I also handled calculations, drafting topos, post processing GPS static surveys, etc. Additionally, I worked for 4 months overseas as an Inspector/Surveyor on a water storage reservoir project in Dubai, U.A.E.

Duties: Responsible for construction survey at a 1200+ home site in Lake Elsinore, CA, including calcs and staking for: rough grade, slopes, utilities, improvements, buildings and structures, etc. Also responsible for seismic-settlement monitoring, topo (for design purposes, as-built verification, etc.), setting final monuments, etc. Daily tasks included field analysis, calcs, plan / plot checking and corrections, and communication with Project Managers and teams. Besides the housing unit phases, the scope of work at this site involved survey on two major road improvements, a community sports park, a Boys & Girls club, and a swim park. Adjacent to this project were two large aggregates mining / reclamation sites which my crew and I also surveyed. In addition, we surveyed numerous other sites where I was responsible for GPS site calibrations / localizations, initial boundary and site control, topo, aerial control, analysis, calcs, staking, etc.
