ANTHONY (TONY) RAY GOTHARD J-29243
I started my plumbing career right out of high school in 1986. Upon graduation I took an apprentice position with Hammer Plumbing in Arlington ,Texas . I engaged in the construction of mostly new homes and some light commercial plumbing. I passed my journeyman exam in 1992 and have engaged in the installation of all phases of plumbing including reading and figuring of blueprints, installing rough-ins with various water system installations, top-outs, and installation of all types of plumbing fixtures. Also ,I have been involved with plumbing several strip mall applications and on occasion have plumbed a couple of beauty salons. I also spent some time as a sub-contracter (plumbing) from 1995 to 1997 before rejoining the Hammer plumbing team and stayed there until January of 2000. In January of 2000 I decided to take a job with a company that offered some chance of advancement. That company was Kennedale Mansfield Plumbing , later known as KMP inc, in August of 2001 I was promoted to a supervisory role in their McKinney office. In 2003 I was promoted to director of new construction ,thus , managing that shop. In 2005 that shop was reconfigured and moved back to Mansfield.where I joined Ken-Man Plumbing (same company) , I was promoted to area manager of the Northern section of the metroplex including Denton, Frisco,McKinney and all points in between all the way to Wiley, after losing one of my superintendents to illness I went back to a supervisory role over the northwest quadrant until I was laid off. Recently, I attended a 40 hr code compliance class and a 16 hr class on OSHA, TAS, and math taught by Bobby Doran in Dallas in preparation for the Master examination. I am knowledgible and motivated in many facets of the plumbing industry and believe I could be a valuable asset to any company.
