PROJECT MANAGEMENT Visited jobsites at least once a week for meeting to review safety with safety manager, quality and budgets with superintendent. Met with General Contractor on schedule and other issues concerning the job. Bought out and scheduled subcontractors. Formwork and Rebar were self performed. Mobilized formwork from construction yard and suppliers. Created Schedule of Values and billed monthly. Approved and coded invoices for employer, suppliers and vendors for payment and job cost control. Provided load tickets and fabrication drawings to construction yard for misc. fabrication. Documented schedule issues, change orders and back charges. Responsible for project close out including paper work and punch lists. Familiar with partial and final releases for subcontractor and vendors. Presented a professional approach to pre bid and negotiations to job award. Reviewed contract with General Contractor, wrote contracts with subcontractors. Computer literate with Microsoft Office and Excel Travel several days a week is OK
ESTIMATING Responsible for finding jobs to bid, obtaining drawings and specs, getting drawings to suppliers, and reviewing drawings for completeness and creating RFIS if required. Attend pre bid meetings with Owners, Architects, Engineers, General Contractors and other subcontractors. Perform quantity takeoffs on computer. Solicited bids for work to be subcontracted out. These would include Crane, Rebar, Postensioning and Concrete Suppliers, Rodbuster and Concrete finishers. Reviewed these bids for pricing and quantity. Determined form systems to be used on bid job to allow for proper pricing. Created Scope/Proposal for each job with inclusions, exclusions and conditions. Followed up post bid to see how pricing and schedule compared to competitors. ENGINEERING Determined and designed the formwork systems for foundations, walls, columns and slabs utilizing the materials company owned. Scheduled Engineering department for timely completion of shop drawings. Reviewed and submitted in house and supplier shop drawings. Performed quantity takeoffs from shop drawings for all formwork materials. Reviewed shop drawings with field personnel during design and construction.
