RECENT WORK EXPERIENCE: Valley Metro Light Rail Project, Park & Ride Lots, Phoenix, Arizona Client: Valley Metro Rail As the project supervisor I Javier Ornelas was responsible for overseeing the entire operation, including the supervision and training of employees, supervising the work of subcontractors, scheduling, identifying, Submitting and implementing approval for the additional requirements, executing the Construction schedule, confirming compliance with project plans and specifications, reviewing plans and drawings for discrepancies and assisting in resolution of those items, enforcing all safety plans and quality control provisions, and perform daily equipment checks. I was also responsible for overseeing site safety on a day-to-day basis and holding weekly personnel meetings regarding the safety program and compliance. Nogales Wash, Nogales, Arizona Client: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers I served as the Project Supervisor for the removal and replacement of the flood damage channel lining including embankment repair, grade checking, dirt work, compaction, fine grading and the final concrete work.
