Dear Human Resource Representative: I am very interested to know of any employment opportunities within construction industry firms in the Providence, RI and or Boston, MA regional area.
I have recently been laid off from Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. as a Project Engineer / CAD Manager / CAD Drafter. This position, as well as previous employment, has left me with extensive experience with civil engineering design, plan presentation, plan production and construction.
In this position I was a key member of several teams simultaneously with projects ranging from, but not limited to Stop & Shop Distribution Center, Shelter Harbor Golf Course, Fidelity Investment Corporate Head Quarters, F.M. Global Corporate Head Quarters, Several Downtown Providence development projects and several Brown University, Roger Williams University and RISD projects. I have 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering Drafting, Design, Construction Observation and Plan Production and 14 years of pipeline maintenance and construction experience. I have always maintained and believed in the values of self-motivation, responsibility and working as a team would ensure, timely, quality products.
The ideal employer would contain many of the same attributes that I find so valuable. I feel that my skill set and experience would be an asset to such a firm and such a firm would enhance my experience to a higher level of quality. Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope to have the opportunity to interview with and become a member of a successful, challenging and interesting team.
Sincerely
Bob McCue
