I was a Building Consultant/Home Inspector for U.S. Inspect for 4 years. My goal is to provide a professional building inspection and the highest level of customer service. As an inspector I provided home buyers with the knowledge of their current conditions, maintenance items and how to take care of the homes through their period of ownership. I performed a complete general inspection as well as close attention to cosmetic detail; with a detailed report issued listing items in the need of attention. I was awarded the Chairman's Award in 2005 and also 2007. I have completed close to 1500 inspections while with U.S. Inspect. I have a radon certification and a pesticide certification. I am still a member of ASHI.
Supervisor: United Postal Service (UPS) Willow Grove, PA 4 /1985 11/ 1998 Several years I was an un-loader/sorter. I unloaded and sorted packages to there various destinations inside the Hub. I was a valuable employee, hard working, good attendance, positive attitude and showed an ability to motivate others. I then took on the challenge of becoming an Area Supervisor. I was an integral part of an organization responsible for the movement of 13 million packages daily. Specifically I was responsible for an operation that employs 50 people, processing 25 thousand plus packages in a 3 1/2 span with very little margin for error. In that span I would have to make hundreds of decisions that will affect his employees and company. I had to know what to do when my planned staffing is different from his actual staffing. I found ways to motivate employees who are otherwise doing a repetitive and monotonous job. I learned personalities of each employee as well as any personal or professional issues that might make them less effective in doing their job. I made adjustment in managerial style to deal with those different personalities.
