Perform I&E inspection as a start up team for Valero. Go between the facilities in Lima, Memphis and Port Author. Completed Sulphur Recovery Project, GDU project, Sour water stripper, Tail Gas Treater, all Diesel Hydro Treaters that came on line for 2006 at all three locations. Presently commissioning a crude unit to come on line in the beginning of 2007
5.July/05 August/05 Instrument Inspector ISC Carbon Black
.Worked with the instrument techs to get the facility back up and running as quickly and safely as possible, after being shut down for a few years. Walked down every piece of instrumentation on the job, kept a record of what had to go back as new and what could be salvaged. Lent a helping hand in calibrating.

Worked to support all activities of Wolf Creek I&C maintenance.
7.February/05- March/05 I&C / AOV Tech. Crane Nuclear, STP
Went through two weeks of training to qualify for I&C certification. Working as an AOV tester. Taking part in Valve calibration (bench set / positioner / I/P calibration), determinations, entire system walk downs, installation of new equipment per standards set. Working with STP I&C on a daily basis.
8.January/05-February/05 Startup Instrument tech, AEI, Valero Refinery
Troubleshot loops and ran the DCS board utilizing Foxboro I/A. Calibrated valves and transmitters. Changed out old and installed new control devices for expansion project. Stayed on for start-up.
9.July/04- January/05 Startup Instrument tech, Englobal, Basell
Taking part as Lead Instrument tech to bring up an existing process that was abandoned in place for two years. Working in conjunction with operations on a daily basis, loop checking and trouble shooting problems
10.March/04- May/04 Startup Instrument tech, H. B. Zachry, Equistar
Took part in a plant wide shutdown, installed new instrumentation, re-worked old control schemes, performed pre-startup system checks, and selected as one of four out of 25 to remain for startup working alongside in-house instrumentation.

Taking responsibility for all Instrumentation aspects from a maintenance perspective. On a daily basis deal with PH, continuity, opacity, consistency, density, flow, level, temperature, pressure, and routine maintenance of control valves. Working as lead instrument tech. Taking part in a revamp of entire process throughout the Chevron facility. Active part in daily turnover meetings with company representatives. Given responsibility over instrumentation activities as they happen on the night shift. Taking active part in calibration, pre-loop, and loop sales to the client.
