I was with Engle Homes of Virginia for over twelve and a half years until they decided to close down operations in the greater Washington DC area on October 31, 2008. Over these twelve years I have been the team leader for most of the companys core processes. Below are a few of my responsibilities and accomplishments.

Annual Production Planning: Established and maintained a production plan for the division looking forward for the next twelve months. Monitor sales to keep pace with business plan. Adjust cycle time on individual houses to meet business plan. Periodically sit down with contractors to review the production plan so that the contractors may better manage their businesses.
Multi-Family Division: Established the Virginia Division process for multi-family projects. These condominium projects were both apartment style and two over two products of two hundred or more units in each project. Created condominium document package and obtained state approval for these documents.
Safety: Initially organized the safety department then became the team leader to guide and maintain the division ranking in the corporation as one of the best.
Quality Assurance: Established a Quality Assurance program where each house was inspected and completed prior to the customer pre-settlement walk-thru.
Customer Satisfaction: At the time I became team leader the Virginia Division was ranked in the bottom third of divisions in the corporation. Within nine months we became the top division in the company and in the top five percent nationally.
Warranty Service: Managed the warranty department for the Virginia Division.
Training: One of the most important aspects of my job is to be continuously training other associates.
Team building: I am a team player and work at growing that atmosphere between all departments.
