OBJECTIVE

EXPERIENCE

Project Engineer SummerHill Homes, Palo Alto, CA 2006- 2008
Developed site work construction estimates, budgets up to eight (8) million dollars and schedules for proposed developments based on engineering drawings and specs.

Managed, supervised, trained, motivated, and conducted yearly performance evaluation of thirteen (13) senior and associate inspectors and four (4) engineering technicians performing daily construction inspection, traffic safety control per MUTCD and trench safety per OSHA requirements in projects related to Public Works, Capital Improvement projects and Utility permits.
Managed and administered multi City projects that valued up to six (6) million dollars, plus issued permits to the Utility Companies performing work in the City Right of Way.
Reviewed and interpreted construction plans and specifications, developed scope of work, engineering estimate based on material take-offs and labor requirement, and checked and revised bid packages including RFPs and RFQs, checked on construction feasibility, quantities, contractors submittals are per contract requirements, quality control, Inspection, pay letters, negotiate settlement of extra work and change orders.
Developed sections fiscal operating budget with recommendation for the number of staff required, equipment needed (vehicles, computers, etc.) depending on projected load for the upcoming year.

As a safety officer for the section, I conducted bi-weekly meetings and quarterly seminars, generated a safety manual to be used as a guideline by the Utility Section.
