QUALIFICATIONS:
Performing VT inspection on mainline and tie in crews. Keeping detail records including pipe material heat numbers, wall thicknesses, lengths, bends and X-ray numbers. Making sure the WPS is followed. Coordination and management of quality control assuring all applicable codes and clients' specifications are adhered, problem-solving/decision making, and coordinating NDT.
Construction testing performing pre and post pressure testing walkdowns, redlining P&IDs and isometric drawings, preparation of hydro test packages, punch list and piping welding inspection, weld mapping, Developed and implemented welding procedures and welder qualifications in accordance with AWS, ASME and API codes. Have basic knowledge with the use of metallurgy, welding metallurgy and NDE testing methods including MT, PT, RT and UT. Welding processes include SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW. Welding department supervisor held weekly safety meetings, blue print reading, welding symbols and fitup. Witness and review welding procedures and welder qualifications to ensure they are acceptable and applicable to the work being performed. Review consumables and materials being used for welding and construction to verify they conform to company specs.
EDUCATION:
AWS 40 hour class CWI Welding Inspection Technology Workshop. Associate of Applied Science Degree from Texas State Technical College, Waco, Texas: GPA 3.4 of 4.0. Graduated Jacksonville High School located in Jacksonville, Texas.
