Improved customer satisfaction from 69% to 86% for the Charleston Area. Led a production team of 12 superintendents in 6 communities. LOCATION MANAGER Responsible for building 30 + homes per year within a 75-mile radius for one of the largest scattered lot builders in the southeast.
Led customer satisfaction improvement efforts, which resulted in the overall customer satisfaction-rating going from 6.8 to 9.5 (out of 10). Built new production team, which resulted in improved quality, reduced build out times by 70 days, and reduced final completion punch lists from 40+ items requiring 3 weeks completion, to 10 or less items and 2 days completion. Led cross functional process improvement by implementing project scheduling using Microsoft Project and a detailed, visual job scheduling board which resulted in reduced build out times and improved coordination between production and sales. Led improvement of construction management process that resulted in over 500% more referrals and sales, which has increased production of homes from 7 in 2001 to 18 in 2002 and on track to complete 38 by end of 2003.

Implemented a project control methodology involving the lead architect, engineer, school district representative and subcontractors, which resulted in the project being completed on time and under budget. Estimated bids for commercial projects from $5MM to $100MM for concrete and interior finish work takeoffs which resulted in accurate, comprehensive and profitable bids being won.
