Working Superintendent

Prepared each job site for room additions and remodeling. Also supervised demolition and remodeling of stick framed apartments and office buildings. Obtained the necessary city and county permits for each project, met with inspectors, owners, vendors, and subs. Estimated labor and material costs for each job, created a budget and stayed within that budget. Ordered materials to be delivered to the job site and scheduled subs. Maintained a close relationship with each owner to ensure customer satisfaction through the construction process. Scheduled warranty work when needed. I left Carolina Residential to take on a larger project with Revelstone.

Project Manager

Managed and supervised two neighborhoods simultaneously. One neighborhood consisted of approximately two hundred homes, and the other of about seventy five homes. On a daily basis I checked each job sites progression from site prep through completion. Other duties included estimating, creating a budget for each house plan, scheduling subs, obtaining the necessary permits, meeting with homeowners regularly to maintain customer satisfaction and make any change orders as needed, calculating all material takeoffs, ordering of materials to be delivered to the job site, maintaining a close relationship with vendors and the onsite realtor, meeting regularly with the bookkeeper to ensure subs were paid correctly and according to budget, and making sure material invoices were paid. With each homeowner I conducted walk throughs and made the punch list. I was also a hands on project manager that would complete tasks in order to ensure the house closed on time. The developer who owns Revelstone has completed his projects and is getting out of the business.
