My name is Brian S. Evans and I am a registered architect with 16 years of industry experience. At this juncture, I am interested in exploring project development and construction administration opportunities.
As a Project Architect with HKS, I managed the production of high-end building types such as the Las Vegas Performance Arts Center and a 45 story high-rise condominium project in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Specifically, I supervised the production team and coordinated the contract documents with the client, the designer and with our consultants. My additional responsibilities were attending client meetings, overseeing the production team deadlines, so that the company maintained its profitability while monitoring the necessary design-hours for projects.
My other work experience includes being a Construction Administrator on condominium projects in Naples and Ft. Myers, attending OAC meetings, providing technical resolutions to RFIs and responding to shop drawings.

HKS ARCHITECTS, INC., Tampa, Florida 2/07 to 1/09
Supervised the office production team in generating contract documents that reflect the Clients design direction while achieving the companys business objectives and schedule through daily and weekly goals. Accordingly, document detailing was given the highest quality of attention.
Montage Deer Valley Resort; Park City, Utah. Developed 64 condominium units in 8 weeks to meet the pricing package schedule and FHA requirements. Attended Owner meetings.
The Las Vegas Performing Arts Center - Large Hall and Education Center;
Las Vegas, Nevada. Developed all skin related elements, including sections and elevations, on a 6 story high-end performance arts center designed by David M. Schwartz, NY. This one-of-a kind art center had an intricate stone facade, located within a seismic zone, which required coordination with all edge of slab drawings and load bearing details. $300M project.
Fairmont, Turnberry Isle Ocean Resort Hotel and Residences; Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Project Architect for a 45 story mix use hotel and condominium. Produced contract documents in Revit. Coordinated all structural and mechanical components with consultants.
SMITHBARNES SANTIESTEBAN ARCHITECTURE, Tampa, Florida 5/04 to 2/07
Provided Construction Administration for high-rise condominiums; issued revised architectural drawings while maintaining the Owners vision, managed change order proposals, and provided technical resolutions to RFIs and shop drawings
Azure at Bonita Bay; Bonita Springs, Florida. Managed this 29 month project from permit through C.O. by attending bi-weekly meetings, prepared drawings for RFIs, issued ASIs, issued CCDs, and coordinated with consultants for the 27 story waterfront residences. $64M.
Esperia South at Bonita Bay; Bonita Springs, Florida. Implemented cost saving review by coordinating details, schedules, and finishes with all consultants. 29 story, $62M project.
Trump Tower Tampa; Tampa, Florida. Assisted on specifications and value engineering.
CURTS GAINES HALL JONES ARCHITECTS, Inc., Tampa, Florida 6/98 to 5/04
Managed various phases of high-rise condominiums from schematics through construction administration; including code research, marketing plans, specifications, and contract documents.
The Seasons at Naples Cay; Naples, Florida. Designed efficient plans accenting views and managed all construction administration for a 21 story high-end luxury tower. Worked closely with structural and mechanical engineers.
Belize at Cape Marco; Marco Island, Florida. Assisted on construction document details, code research and life safety drawings. 148 waterfront units.
Sorrento, The Colony at Pelican Landing; Bonita Springs, Florida. Served as project manager for a 21-story tower over enclosed parking with 72 waterfront units.
