Successfully completed value design engineering to reduce construction costs by $300 K, managed subcontractor and vendor procurement, processed submittals and supervised the base building shell construction from site work to final close in.

Construction project manager for Crown Books and Trak Auto retail store chains. Worked with team to develop and implement an in-house store design and development program. Developed and managed a comprehensive store maintenance program.

Major responsibilities were the design, budgeting, contracting and overseeing renovations of 7/11 stores to accommodate new product and marketing requirements. My territory included the entire state of Maryland and Washington DC. Coordinated the design and construction of new product programs with district managers, store managers and franchisees.

Construction Manager for computer facilities and office facilities. Worked with the Vice President of Corporate Real Estate and Corporate Architect. Projects included a 5,000 sf IBM 30/90 main frame facility, executive offices build out and numerous interior office construction projects in Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland.

Major responsibilities were new site surveys, lease negotiations, preliminary planning and the management of construction for Fiber Optic Communications Sites. Managed the construction of 17 fiber optic communications site along the east coast from Florida to Massachusetts.
