Dear Hiring Manager,
With a wealth of experience within the construction industry, working directly with customers to provide stellar service and follow-through on projects, I am an excellent candidate for the position of Project Manager. I have consistently created opportunities for cost reductions and revenue growth through ongoing evaluation of existing processes, employing needed upgrades as required. I am eager to share these talents with your organization.
Examples of my career accomplishments include:
I have consistently worked on Design/Build teaming projects since 2001, delivering them on time or ahead of schedule. The projects ranged from fifty thousand square feet warehouses to million plus square foot distribution centers for private sector clients. On the public side, delivering design/build projects for MWR in Hawaii, NAVFAC SE in South Carolina and most recent for USACE in Colorado.
Continued my education while working and received my Bachelor of Science, Business Management and Master of Construction Management degrees.
Saved thousands of dollars and away from work man hours in outsourced training costs by training all onsite employees following my certification as trainer for aerial lifts and industrial trucks.
Early in my career produced 2.5 million dollars in revenue on a single account by way of five-year contract with electrical contractor to stock their service trucks.
Instituting a new fall protection system for a project within two weeks, four weeks faster than equipment supplier estimated.
I am well equipped to lead a cross-disciplinary team to success. If you are looking for a Project Manager with full-scope knowledge of the construction industry, I would welcome the opportunity to further discuss my qualifications. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to speaking with you.
Sincerely,
Kenneth W. Hime
