January 2007 January 2009Trendmaker Homes Construction Manager Review all plans and budgets and adjust for any factors that could affect the said budget or outcome of the job. Check all parameters of form prior of pouring to ensure all aspects are correct to plan. Order material in timely manner as to start job on time. To hold supplier/vendors accountable for all and any material ordered for job that does not meet standards and or expectations. Ensure all tasked work is completed with the highest work ethics of quality, timeliness, safety and per code (IEC, NEC, ANSI and city by-laws). Complete payroll on a timely manner after tasked work is completed and question any invoiced work that does not match agreed budget. Instruct and train any new requirement to the subcontractor either it be workmanship or safety. To conduct meetings with subcontractors, buyers, and company personnel when necessary. Ensure all tasked work is started and completed in a timely manner as to allow the next scheduled task to start on time. Review all jobs on a daily basis to check progress and communicate any issues that need to addressed prior of the next started task. Conduct Toolbox Talk safety meetings weekly with fellow construction partners. Conduct Tailgate Safety meetings with vendors and trades weekly.

Maintain accountability of personal and materials during construction of the homes. Train trades on proper construction techniques. Plan and organize the timetable of construction. Order materials and supplies needed for completion of homes. Communicate with vendors and trades pertaining to the construction of homes. Pay all vendors and trades upon completion of tasks. Communicate with homebuyers about concerns with construction of their home. Responsible for warranty service issues in over 50+ homes. Transitioned from Customer Service Representative to Construction Manager Trainee. Instructed Homeowners of the 2-10 Warranty process. Delegated responsibilities to correct warranty issues.
October 1998 September 2001Design Electric Licensed Journeymen Electrician Confirmed the blueprints and engineers drawings before starting job. Supervised any journeymen and helpers to make sure work was being completed to schedule for several commercial jobsites. Responsible for company lift truck while assigned to the Service department. Acquired the knowledge to run and size conduit and wire for each and every application. Completed my 4 year apprenticeship school in 2 years while working 80-100 hrs per week in the refineries.
