Shared responsibilities to oversee the maintenance of a 300,000s.f. printing company, as well as the CONSTRUCTION of a 100,000s.f. ADDITION which was to accept stock by way of rail. Overall DUTIES included: ASSIST the BUILDING MANAGER and OVERSEEING the work of approximately 125 employees under our department including: SECURITY, MILLWRIGHTS, H.V.A.C. Techs, PORTERS, PAINTERS, TOW MOTOR and HIGH LIFT MAINTENANCE, OUTSOURCING TRADES, OUTSIDE GROUNDS, as well as WASTE MANAGEMENT and OPERATIONS/PLANT SAFETY,with 48hrs.of HAZMAT TRAINING leading to the role of INCIDENT COMMANDER. EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE was gained in this position as there were many upgrades made in delicate areas of the plant which could not or would not be shut down due to 24hr.a day production schedules. These areas included office, press room, film process room, dark rooms as well as security, cafe', shipping/receiving and atmospheric emissions. Aided in the successful completion of more than 45 million dollars in enhancements and renovations and broadened my knowledge in the construction trades as well as the maintenance requirements for an industrial production company of this size.
