Work with previously hired outside consultants in developing best practices and delivery systems. Write curriculum, hold training classes, review sales reps training tapes, write progress reports and improvement plans, and develop continuing education programs. Work with Senior Vice-Presidents and Sales Managers to maintain a high level of competency, integrity and motivation within the sales organization. Interviewed prospects in a market that was easy to sell homes but difficult to supply homes, therefore had to maintain relationships over long periods of time in order to have a successful closing. Attended Lennar Success University sales school in Orlando, FL and sold homes the Lennar way. Went above and beyond the call of duty for customers providing them with doctor, school and job connections etc. to assist in making their move as easy as possible. Received many gifts, and was recognized in the community as being a leader and a trustworthy sales person. Was honored as Associate of the Quarter within the first quarter of being employed by Lennar.

Area Sales Manager- Hired, trained and motivated a staff that consisted of Branch Managers, Loan Consultants and support staff. Held accountable for the development of a new area for the sub prime side of the mortgage business. Searched out new offices throughout the Panhandle of Florida, the Eastern side of lower AL and southern GA. Had to recruit staff on my own using little marketing dollars. Was in charge of P&L and was measured on relative sales performance. Managed pipeline of 4-5 million dollars a month. Marketed the branches and performed mortgage presentations to the US Navy and other out sources to ensure production numbers. Was creative with staff and charged them to be top performers in SE Region. Participated in many Wells Fargo training classes, and was responsible for training my own team. Was top performer and enjoyed much success.

Area Sales Manager Responsible for the development of new business in a new market in Southwest, FL region which includes eight branches at present, with two additional branches scheduled to open soon. Have hired, trained and motivated my team to become one of the top producing teams in the State. My team is consistently in the top five out of twenty-six areas in the State. Vice President of Retail Sales - Prior to the organizational consolidation of three retail centers, I managed the Indianapolis, IN division of Homegold. After consolidation was moved to the Corporate Office in Greenville, South Carolina.

Assistant Vice President of Retail Sales - Managed a team of 13 Loan Originators (sales reps) in the state of Florida. Responsible for hiring, training and sales production of the Loan Originators. Also responsible for disciplinary actions including terminations when necessary. Five out of the thirteen Loan Originators were consistently in the top 10 in the country for 1998. Traveled to our corporate office in South Carolina, monthly to attend meetings with Regional VP. Was promoted and relocated to Indianapolis.

Loan Originator - Counseled potential borrowers on credit and designed loan programs to assist them in improving their financial situation. Was top producer for the Indianapolis Regional Operations Center for April 1997 with personal production of $847,500? Exceeded monthly goal of $350,000 for 4 of the 6 months I sold.
