Responsible for managing the financing and project activity of a $43 million irrigation project in the Dominican Republic. Duties included reviewing and accepting the engineering work of local government officials in Dominican Republic, and providing support documentation for lending. Worked with US Banks to fund project activities for foreign government agencies.
Project Engineer Deep Water Coal Port (Colombia)
Involved with the engineering, project management, procurement, and financial planning of
a deep-water coal Superport facility in South America (Colombia). Project scope included working with owners, government officials, private investors, contractors, designers, and lenders for a $200 million global investment project. Responsible for contract writing for a US & Chinese firm, cost estimating, scheduling, preparing acquisition lists, soliciting contractors, and coordinating with lead design teams.
