Job Description:
We seek an exceptional Senior Vice President of Operations to lead bridge and civil construction projects for our multi-state, employee-owned contraction enterprise. The position will be based in Indianapolis, Indiana. This national role offers competitive pay, equity opportunities, and the potential for succession to the presidency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all construction and management operations for bridge and civil projects across multiple states.
Provide strategic leadership, ensuring operational excellence and team-building across the organization.
Manage administrative functions and operational workflows to achieve project goals and long-term success.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in bridge construction projects. Steel bridge expertise (e.g., truss bridges, suspension bridges, or railroad bridges) is preferred, but any type of bridge work qualifies.
Prior officer-level role within a civil general contractor, EPC, or design-build firm.
Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage operations and foster team growth.
Ideal Candidate:
While we value executive-level experience, we are also open to considering an up-and-coming operations executive ready to take their career to the next level.
