American Demolition / Concrete Cutting, as it is known today, was started in 1969 as a "Mom & Pop" concrete cutting company with just two trucks. American Concrete Cutting, as it was known then, was purchased in 1979 by the present owners, Dick Stewart and John Moore. As the business grew, the owners realized that additional opportunities existed for growth by offering full service demolition operations. Thus American Demolition was formed in 1980. ADCCI could now offer complete demolition packages involving sawcutting, building wrecking and interior stripouts and provide these services under one contract, which was seen as a benefit to American's clients.
