Greenwood Construction is currently accepting resumes for a Traveling Superintendent based out of our home office in Salt Lake City but working throughout the Western United States. Greenwood Construction is a commercial interior General Contractor. Our company specializes in building renovation/restoration, retail stores (shopping malls) corporate offices, health care, broadcast, restaurant, specialty clean rooms and related commercial interior construction. Related work experience (i.e. Albercrombie's & Fitch, Bath & Body, Borders, Chili's, Foot Locker, Harley Davidson, Limited, Macaroni Grill, UPS, Victoria's Secret, Pizza Hut, etc.) of a minimum of 7 years will be mandatory. The Superintendent is the president of the job. He provides management oversight for all phases of the construction project, including coordinating workers, material, equipment, safety, quality, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. We are looking for Superintendent that are hands on as you will be a working superintendent. Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints. Strong communication skills are necessary for you will be working directly with clients and architects. Job sites will have computer and digital camera's for communication so knowledge of these items will be required. Project durations vary from 4 to 16 weeks.
