Remediation Services SCE provides a full range of in-house services and products to Government Agencies, Public, Commercial and Private Industry nationwide. SCE offers comprehensive on-site services for industrial cleaning, decontamination, site remediation, transportation & disposal and emergency response, meeting the highest standards in the industry today. During Hurricane Charley and Hurricane Ivan, SCE deployed 122 workers from Pennsylvania to Florida within 4 days of the hurricanes. SCE performed temporary tarping of residential and commercial properties under an Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE), the Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) contracts. The SCE crews covered over 125,000 sq. ft. per day for a total of 4.3 Million Sq. Ft. Although conservation, reuse, recycling, and composting have reduced municipal waste, most of the waste society generates still ends up in landfills. At present, there are more than five thousand landfills in the United States. Public concern over the environment as well as the consequences associated with past construction methods makes the development, maintenance, expansion and closure of a landfill very complex. SCE Environmental Group's personnel are experienced from construction to closure and have worked extensively with landfills containing hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
