POWERS Trust (the Trust) is an Australian registered Trust. The Trust holds an investment in the two interest bearing First Onlending Agreement (FOLA) issued by the Trustees of the Diversified Utility and Energy Trust No. 1 (DUET1) and Diversified Utility and Energy Trust No. 2 (DUET2), being the original FOLA and the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP) FOLA. DUET1 and DUET2 are collectively referred to as DUET. The Trust is managed by AMP Capital Investors Limited. The interest earned on the FOLA by the Trust is recognized on an effective interest basis. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2008, the Trust recognized $54.5 million of interest income on the FOLA.(Source: ARS)
