He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California.PATRICK HANRAHAN, Sr. Vice President, Acquisitions, Dispositionsand Leasing. Pat has wide-ranging finance and management experience and is responsible for the acquisition and disposition of Carson Companies' properties as well as the renewal of tenants. Pat has over 25 years experience in real estate and 10 years experience in equity investing. He is a graduate of USC. Pat joined the Company in 1989.JOHN HAWKINSON, Sr. Vice President, Finance. John joined The Carson Companies in 1997 as Vice President, Controller and was promoted to his current position in 2001. As Sr. V.P., Finance, he has arranged well in excess of $300 million of permanent, construction and revolving debt facilities. Mr. Hawkinson is also responsible for all accounting, financial reporting and risk management activities of the Company. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 1983 and was in the auditing and consulting departments of Kenneth Leventhal & Company in Los Angeles from 1984 through 1990. Upon leaving Leventhal, he joinedPacific Atlas Development Company, a Japanese owned real estate developer, as its Manager of Finance where he stayed until coming aboard The Carson Companies. Mr. Hawkinson is a certified public accountant. EDWARD M. JAKUBIK, Vice President of Property Management. Eddie joined the Company in 2001 and is responsible for the property management and tenant relations function for the entire real estate portfolio. Eddie was previously employed by The Merit Companies and has over 13 years experience in property management. He is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton and is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management.BOYD NIES, Controller, is responsible for the daily accounting operations, financial reporting and budgeting for The Carson Companies. Prior to joining the Company in 1999, he served in a similar capacity as the Controller for Bravante-Curci Investors, L.P., a private real estate investment venture. Mr. Nies also worked for Impco Technologies as its Accounting Manager. He began his career in public accounting at Deloitte and Touche in Orange County, California. Mr. Nies, a certified public accountant, holds a B.S. from the University of the Pacific and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.DANIEL G.ZOCH, Managing Director, Texas. Dan is responsible for The Carson Companies' Houston operations including acquisitions, leasing, development and property management. Prior to joining the Company in 2007, Dan was an industrial real estate broker with Boyd Commercial in Houston. Dan is a Certified Commercial Investment Member, a Texas licensed real estate broker and holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas.
