Hazelwood Handyman was founded in 1996 by Tim Spang. Tim started his first business, Spang Builders Inc., immediately out of high school. He grew it into a successful and highly respected, fine-home building and remodeling company. However, as Spang Builders grew, many former and prospective customers commented that it must be too busy to accommodate their small repairs or remodels. In response to that sentiment, Tim decided to open another company that focused on home repairs and maintenance as well as smaller additions and remodels. Thus, Hazelwood Handyman was born.
Tim had come full circle - from a hard-working high school graduate who started as a one-man-band, to a highly respected custom home-builder, and back to a company that provides the customer with services that are often associated with the one-man-band. The difference now is that Hazelwood Handyman is a company backed by a full time office staff, project managers, numerous carpenters, and other trusted affiliates that are dedicated to providing the client with unparalleled customer service and quality craftsmanship - all at an affordable price.
