Simon, took over the business, and continued it for the next thirty years. Today the founder's grandson Philip maintains the same tradition of adaptability and diversity of excellence, striving to create structures in Madison and surrounding communities that have style beauty, quality and value. Quality and craftsmanship are always a constant, but at Michael F. Simon Builders, change is also an honored tradition. In 1979 and 1980, when high interest rates made for a lean housing market, we diversified into multi-family units, light commercial and industrial construction across the county. To meet the challenge of the customer-oriented nineties, our company has transformed itself again, this time into a design/build company with a full design service featuring an in-house designer and Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD).At Michael F. Simon Builders, our future products will be shaped by the future needs of the market, and the lessons of the past.
